Total TV Guide Special #2 rumours

April 7th, 2009

tenth_doctor_defaultAccording to Total TV Guide listings magazine, the second of this year’s Doctor Who specials is called The Waters of Mars.

We’ll have to wait until Saturday night to find out whether or not the rumour is true, but it certainly ties in with the long-standing reports which suggest the episode will be set on the Red Planet…

Special #2 is written by Russell T Davies and Phil Ford and will transmit on BBC1 and BBC HD in November.

But the Doctor always says Mars is reeeallly boring. I don’t know if he says it onscreen, but he’s definitely said it in books. Whether or not they’re canon is another matter, I suppose.

Sounds an intriguing title. Mars did use to have water on it (supposedly) so that could be the basis of a storyline.
