Brand new Children of Earth preview released!

May 29th, 2009

torchwood_coe_ianto_gwen_jack_promoThey are coming… and to get us even more excited about their arrival, the official Torchwood website has today released a brand new preview of what’s to come in Torchwood’s third series, Children of Earth!

The trailer is currently being shown across the pond on BBC America to promote the mini-series, which is expected to air both here in the UK and in the USA in July.

Children of Earth rejoins Jack, Gwen and Ianto as they still struggle to come to terms with the death of two of their closest friends, Owen and Tosh. But they’ve still got a job to do, and this time the team are faced with their fiercest threat to date, and one which will change Torchwood, and the entire human race, forever. But as they battle against the odds, do they stand a chance of saving mankind?

You can check out the new preview below:

    Despite my misgivings of this miniseries (as I keep saying, I want more!) I got quite excited watching this, and I can’t wait to see it. Though I do find it irritating that we get these amazing teasers *months* before, and they force us to wait.

    Ah, the impatience of youth…

    @TSG
    Series Three is supposed to air over here in the UK at the end of next month, so, fingers crossed…! Just hope the rumour about a third team filming in Series Four in Cardiff from this Summer is true… I’ll be in squee-heaven!

    Just finished rewatching Children Of Earth and bloody hell is it good. One of the best pieces of television the BBC has ever made.
