Speaking on the red carpet at last night’s TV Quick & TV Choice Awards in London, Freema Agyeman revealed that she has no idea what will happen in David Tennant’s finale two-parter because she hasn’t read the scripts, but, according to her, being kept in the dark is a blessing rather than a curse…

“I often believe that, in certain situations, ignorance is bliss,” she told Digital Spy. ”If you don’t know, you don’t know.”

She added: ”That’s what I did for the last episode of the last series, too, because I made a point of not reading it while I was doing interviews because I thought, you can’t bleed it out of me then, can you?”

And she also remained tight-lipped when brought up on the rumours that her character, Martha Jones, will be getting married in the anticipated specials, which are due to air at the end of the year.

“There are many things left for Martha, in my mind,” she said. “And maybe in some other people’s minds, too. But whatever happens, we’ll have to see what we see.”
