Temporary cover for Specials boxset released

Online retailers were today updated with the temporary cover for the upcoming release of the Doctor Who Complete Specials boxset, which will be available to buy on DVD and Blu-ray from January 11th 2010!
As we previously reported, the set will include the 2008 Christmas special, The Next Doctor, as well as this year’s Easter special, Planet of the Dead, plus The Waters of Mars and the Christmas specials.

This might as well be the cover but with some companions or something in the background
I think that’s quite an effective cover. These are David’s final five episodes so the artwork should be basically just him. No fuss, no OTT design or background like previous DVD’s – just Doc 10, a stark, dark background, and the logo that will soon disappear forever!
It would be better if the top half above the logo was just David, with the bottom half being divided into four sections for the four stories with a related background and the main companion in each section.
