Advent Calendar: Day Twelve
We’re now just a few short weeks away from the Tenth Doctor’s final climatic story, The End of Time, and, as we prepare to bid him our last farewell, we’ve decided to celebrate his era by taking a look back at some of his very best bits - and we need your help!
We want to hear YOUR personal favourite Tenth Doctor moment of all time, whether it’s a specific quote, scene, an episode, a storyline, or even something from one of the many novels or comic strips.
Please share your thoughts as a comment on this post (we know it’s hard to choose!), and later this month we’ll pick some of your contributions at random and open a poll which will determine the ultimate Top Ten of Ten!
We’ll be revealing the final results throughout the week leading up to the broadcast of part two of The End of Time. Happy reminiscing!

Doctor Who; Series 3; Episode One; Smith and Jones; Tenth Doctor:
“Me, I’m Bear Foot On The Moon HA!!”
Doctor Who; Xmas Special; XS:3; Voyage Of The Damned; Tenth Doctor:
“I’m The Doctor, I’m 907 Years Old, My Planet is Far Away On The Castodial Skys of The Planet Gallifrey, Have You Got A Problem With That???”
Doctor Who Series three: Hermits Unite, we get out every ten years and talk about caves-Utopia
Alonz-y Alonzo
I’ve got more
Doctor Who Series four: When the Doctor sees Rose for the first time in a long time, the smile that he gets makes me giddy! Then he and Rose just take off and run to each other. And then he gets shot by that Dalek-That’s terrible!-Stolen Earth
Doctor Who Series Three: When Martha gets trapped in the spaceship going into the sun. The Doctor Yells at Martha threw the window-I’ll Save you, I’ll Save You!-42
Doctor Who series Four: The Doctor gives the speech to Donna when she is about to leave to see her family and see looks at him like, ‘do you really think i’m leaving you ya idiot’! Then The Doctor feels very stupid!
The Christmas Invasion – “Did you Miss Me?” what an entrance. Then the entire next section where number 10 doesn’t even seem to pause for breath.
Also … Well, yeah, you could. Yeah, you could do that, of course you could. But why? Look at these people: These human beings. Consider their potential. From the day they arrive on the planet, and blinking step into the sun. There is more to see than can ever be seen. More to do than – No hold on… Sorry, that’s the ‘Lion King’. But the point still stands.
moment I fell in love with the 10th Doctor
For me, 2.13:
“You’re not?”
Because I don’t know whether or not that was in the stage directions, but the softness he gives that line, and the gentle touch of happiness… I love that line! And it makes me want to write lots and lots and lots about it. Because it leaves us all guessing, to an extent that it borders on being irritating, and we love it!
But I’m going to agree with Bridget on the moment when she fell in love with the 10th Doctor. Definitely the Lion King speech.
It is so hard to choose because he has had so many funny moments, but then so many sad and dramatic moments aswell!
One of the funniest has to be when he is possessed by Cassandra, still cannot watch it without laughing!
“Goodness me I’m a man! I’m beating out a samba!”
I totally agree with you, TSG. The way he delivers that line always makes me cry.
Ok one of the best scenes for me was in series 1 where we finally saw David. The start of something special
Sorry not on topic but when will the Christmas project pics be on the site or advent calendar?
Thanks

All will be revealed in due course…
Favorite quote: People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually, from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint, it’s…more like a big ball of wibbly wobbly…timey whimey…stuff.”
-The 10th Doctor, Blink.
Favorite Scene: The Doctor and Rose running towards each other in The Stolen Earth.
Favorite Acting Moment of David: When Donna says “Bad Wolf” in Turn Left. The look on his face just thrills and chills.
For me, it has to be when he is talking to Rose on Bad Wolf Bay in “Doomsday”, when he’s about to say those words… and he loses the connection.
One lone tear trails down his cheek, devastation on his face. He’s lost her…
That makes me so sad Mass, I also Journey’s End when Rose looks at both of the Doctors and asks him what he was going to say to her the last time they were there and he says “It Doesn’t Need saying”! Then when the other Doctor replies to her and sp she grabs him and kisses him-that’s a little bit of a bitter sweet ending for rose and you know it breaks the Doctor’s heart as he’s walking away!
Favourite Quote: “Did you miss me?” – 2.X: The Christmas Invasion
Favourite Scene: Definitely the final scene between Number Ten and our Donna. The highlight of Ten’s journey so far.
Favourite Episode: 4.9: Forest of the Dead – For the Doctor to lose someone he has never met and knows nothing about, but they know all about him in a way that hints at a very strong (possibly romantic) relationship, is almost heart-wrenching.
