top-ten-of-ten-8Our countdown of the Tenth Doctor’s best moments continues, and in eighth place, with 7.0% of the final vote, is his heartbreaking farewell with River Song at the end of Series 4’s Forest of the Dead.

There are still many questions yet to be answered regarding their mysterious relationship, and unfortunately it seems that the Tenth Doctor will never discover who she really was.

But who knows, perhaps she’ll pop up again at some point in the future and we’ll find out? Maybe even in the next series…

    Can’t wait for her storyline to be resolved. I need to stop worrying about who she is!

    I can’t really explain it – but I absolutely LOATHE River Song! Hated her with the passion of a burning super nova! The less I have to see of that character – the better!
