exhibitionRecently it was confirmed that the Doctor Who Exhibition will be extending its services to Newcastle later this year, and its organisers have today kindly sent us details regarding its anticipated launch!

The museum will be officially opening on May 22nd 2010 at the Centre for Life, which is this year celebrating its 10th birthday, and will host various props, costumes and memorabilia from the series, including Daleks, Cybermen, Ood, Judoon, the Autons, the Abzorbaloff, and many more!

“Doctor Who is fantastic fun for the entire family so we’re delighted to be able to announce this new exhibition at the Life Science Centre which we hope will bring in a whole new audience,” said Ian Simmons, Science Communications director. “This celebration of Doctor Who over the years is also the perfect 10 year celebratory event for us at the centre.”

Tickets are already on sale for those of you who want to be the first through its doors, and they can be purchased via the Centre for Life website and also by ringing 08444 815 880 (line open 9AM-9PM, 7 days a week). Tickets cost £6.25 for children and £9 for adults, and a family ticket is also available at the price of £25. Entry is free for Life passport holders.
