Eleventh Doctor figure sells out in Matt’s hometown

January 27th, 2010

eleventh-doctor-januaryAccording to an article published by The Northampton Chronicle today, all of the Eleventh Doctor figures have completely sold out in the area after fans and friends bought the entire first batch of models based on their local hero.

There were reportedly queues of people outside every available shop upon its release, including the actor’s mother, Lynne Smith, who was fortunate to get her hands on one before they disappeared off the shelves!

“The likeness is incredible. It’s amazing, I think it’s a really good model of him,” she told the newspaper. “And he’s my son, so I’ve obviously looked at it really closely. It was fabulous to see his first model, it was really exciting for us all.”

The figure is now available in shops for £8.99, however it’s selling so quickly that eBay, which currently has one auctioning for £30, may be your best bet! Stay tuned!
