Back in July last year, we told you that John Barrowman was in talks to appear in US comedy-drama Desperate Housewives, and today news has surfaced that he has accepted the part and will be flying to LA to film in a few weeks time!

The Daily Mail reports that the actor will be playing a ‘bad guy’ at the end of the current series, which launched its run in America last September and began airing here in the UK earlier this week.

It’s thought that his episodes will transmit across the pond this Spring and will reach Britain in May/June.

Plot details are being kept tightly under wraps, and, according to the newspaper, executive producer Marc Cherry is said to have been ‘very taken’ by Barrowman’s portrayal of Captain Jack. Stay tuned!
