Blue Peter’s ‘Design a TARDIS Console’ winner revealed

Back in October last year, Blue Peter launched a ‘Design a TARDIS Console’ competition which, as its title suggests, invited viewers to come up with their very own version of the TARDIS console.
And the winner was unveiled in today’s episode of the CBBC show, chosen by the Eleventh Doctor himself, Matt Smith. He selected the entry by Susannah from Lancashire and you can check out her winning design below:
Susannah’s TARDIS will be put together by designer Edward Thomas and the rest of the Doctor Who production team and will feature in an episode of the upcoming fifth series.
Ah well, if you have knives poking out of the console (Paul McGann’s 1997 tardis) what not other house hold junk!
I particularly like the “mirror so the doctor can look at himself” and the “self playing piano”! Amusing!
