Doctor Who has recieved yet another gong to add to its ever-growing collection, after the series was named as the Best TV Drama Programme at this year’s Television and Radio Industries Club (TRIC) Awards!

Although it faced tough competition from Doc Martin (ITV1) and Shameless (Channel 4), it managed to reign supreme at the ceremony, which was held at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London earlier today.

Bernard Cribbins, best known for his portrayal of Wilfred Mott, was on hand at the event to accept the award on behalf of all of its cast and crew. Congratulations to all concerned!
