Doctor Who Magazine #419 released today

The 419th issue of Doctor Who Magazine was published across the UK today, and this month’s feature is an exclusive interview with Beth Willis and Piers Wenger.
The new executive producers are, as we speak, working alongside showrunner Steven Moffat to produce the 13 brand shining new adventures that will hit our screens from next month!
There’s also a free audio adventure to download. Freakshow by Mark Morris follows the Fifth Doctor, Turlough and Tegan as they encounter a caged menagerie of the most unusual aliens. Also inside…

Hi, I’ve purchased this and its alright, only really 1 main article on the new series. Next issue is out 1st April with previews, so likely to be on 3rd April, almost pure confirmation bliss :D

The cover attached to this article is definitely the artwork for issue #419. It may seem like an older edition because it was unveiled much earlier than usual to tie in with the release of the promo shot featured on the front.
The interview with Piers Wenger and Beth Willis is slightly strange. If only for the fact that much of what they say is, basically, word-for-word what RTD, Julie and Phil were saying five years ago in DWM interviews.
Just a little bit of history repeating…
Still interesting, though, as their enthusiasm for the new series is almost tangible.
