First Series 5 audio cover, with new image of the Doctor and Amy!

Back in November last year we brought you the details of the first ever audiobook to feature the Eleventh Doctor and Amy Pond, The Hounds of Artemis by James Goss. The cover for the story has recently been unveiled and it features a great new image of our new heroes, as well as a closer look at the revamped sonic screwdriver! You can check it out below:
The artwork also brought with it confirmation that the audio adventure will be read by Matt Smith and Karen Gillan! The Hounds of Artemis will be available to buy from 3rd June 2010, and a second audiobook, The Runaway Train by Oli Smith, will be released alongside it.

Very interesting cover! Not the best picture of Amy though, doubt she’d be happy with that haha :) The fonts are a bit basic and slapdash too, guess this means the death of deviant strain? Ah well, change is good :)
Green light for the sonic screwdriver? Ooh!
Not only the green light, but the end (four or three prongs attached), is similar to River Song’s in the Library episodes.
Agreed, not the best picture of Karen/Amy. Or the Hound for that matter. The eyes look like those of a stuffed animal.
I know. It’s a sequel to Tom Baker’s Stuff of Nightmares….(Yeah right!)
But on a massive plus side. Not only Matt reading, but Karen as well!!

Er…the sonic screw driver only had a light on the end in the new series and never in the original.
I am looking forward to something new and exciting that does not have David bl**dy Tennant in it!
um… i dont like the new sonic screwdriver… um… the orther one was WAY slicker…
