The actress, who portrayed Martha Jones in Series 3 and 4 of Doctor Who – with a brief stint in Torchwood’s second series in between! – is today celebrating her 31st birthday.
She last appeared in The End of Time on New Year’s Day, where she was seen to be working as a freelance agent alongside her new hubby, Mickey Smith!

Just an aside:
I don’t think Mickey is worthy of Martha and I found it difficult to comprehend why she’d marry him. Too bad they didn’t use one of those Tennant specials to show us just how and why they became a couple. Nevertheless, if Martha returns to either Doctor Who or the new Torchwood I hope she’s a widow. To Noel Clarke, please don’t take offense as I’m only referring to Mickey, the character you play, and not to you personally.
