Happy Birthday, David Tennant!
April 18th, 2010
Please join us as we send out our best birthday wishes to David Tennant, who is today celebrating his 39th birthday!
Even though he no longer resides in the TARDIS, he’s still very much in our hearts, and we hope he has a great day!
Feel free to share your own birthday wishes for David in a comment on this post. Allons-y!

It’s clear quite a few people are irritated by Steve’s opinions, but I’ve found it’s best to try and ignore it.
WhovianNet is very well moderated against fighting, which is a good thing because I have first-hand experience of what happens when people are allowed to fight and I think that kind of experience could really damage a community like this, it aint pretty.
At the end of the day, Steve doesn’t like the Tenth Doctor, right?, quite considerably from all the posts I’ve seen, but in a polar opposite, I thought Tennant brought a breath of fresh air and a feeling of energy to a franchise that I know for sure I’d otherwise wouldn’t have bothered watching. I don’t want to argue over my personal opinion, I just choose to express that opinion less often than Steve does, that’s all. As reasonable as I’ve tried to be in this post, this might get a reaction too, but I hope it doesn’t.
Moving swiftly back on topic though, which is David Tennant’s birthday, I genuinely wish him a happy 39th birthday, just hope he’s watching out for the insanity of a mid-life crisis, a personal on-coming storm, you could say ;)
@JC WELL SAID!
I only really became a fan of dr who when david got involved, as i knew he was a brilliant actor and well respected by the fans and the critics, and I thought he brought the eccentricity of the character into new who. So I will always have a soft spot for him and class him as MY doctor.
happy birthday david and keep up the good work
Happy birthday David and good luck with your other projects .
Happy 39th Birthday David :)
Didn’t Steve basically admit a while back that his dislike (verging on the obsessive) of DT stems from David’s political beliefs?
I can’t wait until Matt reveals his are probably very similar.
Anyway, to make sure I continue to enjoy Whovian.net as I always have, I scroll past certain comments these days :)
PS. Happy Birthday David. You haven’t done badly for a Paisley boy ;)
