Firstly i am getting very intrigued by the new series but as the weeks are going by i can’t help but think there might be a crossover coming with doctor who and torchwood. Firstly they are being aired at the same time which has never happened. Secondly in episode one of series six the doctor is supposed to have been killed in utah in america in 2011. If this is the case then its a strange coincidence that everyone stops dying in the same year and the fact torchwood is now in america too. I may be wrong but it just seems a bit of a coincidence what with the blessing and the silence. Two unexplained organisations who maybe the same organtisation to interlink both torchwood and doctor who. If anyone has had the same thought about it i’d love to know.

I am so loving this season which suprised me because i was all ready to hate it, due to the fact there was no Ianto! But all the same im loving it. I have a few theories, but i defo think the family of blood thing was put in to through us off the scent. Im really hoping this has something to do with Jack being the face of boe.

I was also tending towards the family of blood, but now i don’t think so for two reasons.
– When that lady was killed the voice claimed “the families will rise’, not the family.
– Second, they are strongly hinting that the entity behind this is connected to Jack’s past. The family is connected to the doctor, but not to my knowledge to Jack.

On those grounds the theory that it might be the descendents of the nanobots from the ‘empty child’ sequence seems more plausible, but in that scenario i would not understand exactly what their motive is supposed to be. I definitely feel like the shadow entity is in some may related to something we’ve seen or heard about before. If anyone has any other theories I would love to hear them.

Anyway, Im hooked on this season as well and having a lot of fun with it.

I think the corp is the family of blood as seen in david tennants “doctorship”, just some of the little teasers “we are everywhere” and so on. Just re watched the 2 part epsiode on the family of blood and im positive it is!

If previous seasons are anything to go by, wooden acting; poor scripts and lots of man love. Not that I have anything against gay people, but it can be pushed too far sometimes; which was especially evident in Torturewood. Maybe adding some US actors, will make it seem less ham and corn; to at least make it edible in small bites.

I am american, and i just don’t think torchwood will be the same. Jack used to stand out as the hot american, and now Gwen is the mysterious
person from “England”? (She’s Welsh people)

I can’t believe that evon though it is a co production between the BBC ab=nd Starz taht we in Britain have to wait an extra 6 days for Miracle Day to be shown here.
