David Walliams’ episode and character details revealed

At the start of the month, David Walliams confirmed that he’ll be appearing in Series 6, and today more details about his episode have been revealed on the official site!

The actor and comedian will be playing a character called Gibbis in a “spooky” story which has been written by Toby Whithouse (School Reunion/The Vampires of Venice). Of his role, he said: “I am a huge fan of Doctor Who and am so looking forward to working with Matt Smith and running up and down some corridors with him.”

    I’m thinking this episode will be in the same vein as ‘The Lodger’. A comedic actor involved in quite a dark story.
