The 431st issue of Doctor Who Magazine will be released in shops tomorrow – read on for a round up of what’s inside!

In Steven Moffat’s latest Production Notes, he discusses why he disagrees that Doctor Who is “just for kids”, and, in an exclusive interview, Mark Gatiss reflects on his Series 5 story, Victory of the Daleks, before teasing his Series 6 episode. “Steven said to me, ‘Make a Barret home terrifying like you did in Crooked House,’,” he explains. “But Crooked House was on at 10pm, this is on at 6…”

William Hartnell’s second series as the Doctor is examined as part of DWM’s countdown to 2013’s 50th anniversary, while the Time Team relive the 2005 adventure, The End of the World, and the new Doctor Who Experience is previewed…

The Screams of Death comic reaches its dramatic conclusion, and Janet Fielding speaks candidly about her time in the TARDIS as companion Tegan Jovanka. The 1987 story Paradise Towers is covered in the Fact of Fiction, as the new Daleks are debated.

Plus, there’s a new competition to win A Christmas Carol on DVD, as well as all of the latest news in the Gallifrey Guardian – and there’s plenty of reviews and previews!

Got mine this morning. Great issue, packed as always.

Particularly enjoyed the six-page Janet Fielding interview. Really good read. I’ve always had a soft spot for Tegan.

Looks great! But I’ll have to wait awhile to read it. It takes about 3 months to get here in Aussie. :(
