It has been confirmed that Big Finish’s license to make Doctor Who audiobooks has been extended until December 2014 by AudioGO!

Executive producer, Jason Haigh-Ellery, has said of the news: “Doctor Who and the associated spin-off series have always been the cornerstone of the Big Finish audio ranges, and it is great to see that AudioGO have shown such confidence in our contribution to the franchise by giving us this two year extension on our license.”

Nick Briggs said: “We’re looking forward to continuing”, and producer David Richardson added that fans have “so much to look forward to” over the next three and a half years.

They’ve also teased that there’s another “major announcement” coming next week…
