Steven “might revisit” Madame Vastra and Jenny
Steven Moffat has revealed that we might see more of the Madame Vastra and Jenny partnership in the future.
The characters were introduced in the mid Series 6 finale, A Good Man Goes to War, and proved to be so popular that the showrunner even suggested the idea of a spin off! He told SFX: “I pitched it to Ben Stephenson (the Controller of Drama Commissioning). He just said ‘…Yes!’. And then I said ‘I obviously don’t have time to do this…’. But I think I might revisit them. They were great fun to write.”
“I was pleased by the reaction to them, but not surprised,” he continued. “They really cut through as characters, given how little screentime they had. I certainly wouldn’t be averse to them returning. It’s just a thing that worked, isn’t it?”
Did you enjoy the mid-series finale? Discuss the climax and its cliffhanger…

Yes, yes, yes! There is a clear gap in the market for crime fighting, Victorian, lesbian Silurians and their partners!! :D
A spin off would be awesome!
Have to admit that even with two spin-offs under its hood, this would be one that Doctor Who needs!
I don’t know about spin-off, but I would totally be in favour a “Doctor lite” episode with them, like Blink or Love and Monsters.
@The Parminder Victorious
That right there. That is a brilliant idea.
Scrap and Amy and replace her with Madame Vastra!!!!
