Eve Myles has told Torchwood fans that we haven’t seen the best of Miracle Day yet.

In an interview with The Wall Street Journal, the actress predicted that we “will not be able to breathe” as the events of the series intensify. “You haven’t seen anything yet,” she said. “It ramps up 100%. Once you get to episode five, it all starts to unravel and unravel so fast. There’s so much to take in! It just goes crazy the closer you get to finding out what’s going on.”

She continued: “That’s what Russell T Davies does. It’s so simple, and then he’ll drop you like a ton of bricks. This series is all about expecting the unexpected.”

We haven’t seen anything yet? God, I hope not, because we really haven’t seen much in the first few episodes; there better be something more exciting on the way.

The Categories of Life definitely changes the pace of the series and is the best episode of the series, in my opinion. Everything changes so fast and you do get a sense of “there are more villains in this story than the Families”.

I hope so! Found my interest drifting a bit in the last episode; perhaps a case of too many episodes, that if it had been a shorter series, like Children Of Earth, they wouldn’t have had to pad it out as much.

I agree: the series may have been better off with six to eight episodes instead. But the ending of the episode sees the series becoming a little more serious and shows that Miracle Day has a lot to offer now.
