Arthur discusses The Girl Who Waited, series finale
Digital Spy recently caught up with Arthur Darvill to talk about this weekend’s episode, The Girl Who Waited, which he described as his “favourite episode so far”.
“It was really hard to film actually,” he explained. “It’s a big one for Amy and Rory and their relationship, and it took me a while to get my head around it. It is just brilliant, a really clear piece of storytelling. It’s a real sci-fi concept with such a big heart. I don’t want to give too much away about it, but Rory really gets to step up to the plate.”
He also promised that “a lot of things” are answered in the series finale, The Wedding of River Song. “By the end, you get a brilliant pay-off to the whole thing,” he teased.
The site has also shared 10 teasers from the episode, which airs Saturday at 7:15pm.

Yay for answers, and yay for how this week’s ep is looking to be! I can’t wait, which is rather ironic, given the title.
