Eve describes Miracle Day as “incredible”, “magical”
Eve Myles has described her experience of filming the new series, Miracle Day, as “incredible and magical” in a recent interview with the New York Times.
“It’s been a drama of its own really, these five years,” she explained. “It started quite small and just grew and grew. If somebody had said to me, five years ago, that in 2011 I’d be talking from Hollywood after doing Torchwood for Starz, I’d have told them to take their medication and to have a nice, long sleep. It would have been ridiculous.”
She continued: “No one could have imagined that this is where we would have ended up. It’s just been fantastic. I can’t word it any other way. It’s been incredible and magical.”
Regarding the finale, The Blood Line, which airs tomorrow in the US and next Thursday in the UK, the actress teased: “It’s a massive, worldwide event, the biggest thing that’s ever happened, and Jack and Gwen have to sort it out. They’ve got no choice. They are close, maybe too close, and now what? Now you’ll get your answers.” And we can’t wait!
She finished the interview by describing Russell T Davies as “the key” to coming up with the concept for another Torchwood series. “It all starts with Russell T Davies,” she said.
In the UK, Series 4 continues tonight in The Gathering by John Fay, at 9pm on BBC1.
