First official picture of Karen as Jean Shrimpton

The BBC recently released the first official picture of Karen Gillan as Jean Shrimpton!
The actress portrays the model in a new drama called We’ll Take Manhattan, which is to air on BBC Four next month.
The 90 minute one off film explores the model’s love affair with British photographer David Bailey, focusing particularly on their first meeting at a New York photoshoot. Karen has previously said she was “so excited” to take on the role.
Earlier this month it was confirmed Karen will be leaving Doctor Who during Series 7.
I knew it was Karen in that picture! I was looking at the TV mag going, hang on… I know that face. Will have to watch it.
