Prequel: The Doctor, The Widow & The Wardrobe
To help us prepare for this year’s Christmas special (just 17 days, everybody!), the official site has unveiled its exclusive prequel as part of its Advent Calendar!
In the short video (which you can see HERE or below!), the Doctor finds himself in yet another sticky situation, making a desperate call to a very dear friend, but it won’t end well…
The Doctor, The Widow and The Wardrobe airs on BBC One on Christmas Day at 7pm.
When Madge and her two children, Lily and Cyril, are evacuated to a draughty old house in Dorset during World War Two, they enter a magical wintry new world with the Doctor.

wow i was already excited for the christmas ep now i just can’t wait for it to be christmas and finally have matt back on my telly
And I’m kinda bored with Moffat starting everything with, supposedly, the Doctor’s death.
I thought this prequel was really quite sad: the Doctor’s on his own again. Though honestly, could he not have phoned River? Or does the sonic only contact the TARDIS? But anyway, yes, quite sad, gently sorrowful, and I have no idea how he’s about to end up in 1941 England, which I suppose was the aim of the prequel.
cant wait to see the xmass eipisode not long to wait now :)
WHOA can’t wait for the Christmas episode!!!!!!!!
