Warwick Davis says villain role would be “a dream”
Warwick Davis told Radio Times recently that he’s always dreamt about playing a villain in Doctor Who.
The actor, who’s known for his roles in Star Wars and Harry Potter, and the recent TV series, Life’s Too Short, explained: “Mr Steven Moffat is somebody I want to talk to, certainly. I love Sherlock, and I would love to be in Doctor Who. It has been a dream of mine for many years.”
Would you like to see Warwick appear in the series?
Other actors to express an interest in appearing include Helen Mirren and Colin Firth.

I’ve never seen Star Wars, but he’s brilliant in HP, certainly, so yes, I’d like to see him in Doctor Who!
Would I like to see him in Doctor Who? Hmm, let me think . . . . .
YES!!!! YESYESYESYES!!! Absolutely, yes! And he’d be great as a villain. I mean, we may remember him playing nice, likeable heros like the young Ewok Wicket, and of course the Hobbit-esque hero Willow Ufgood and the jovial Professor Flitwick. He’s got good comic timing, and he seems to be a genuinely likeable guy himself. But he’s also got a lovely flair for villains. I was disappointed when he was not selected to play the dwarf Trumpkin in “Prince Caspian” — until I realized he’d been instead cast as Nikabrik, which is a much harder part since you have to show that Nikabrik has a genuine motivation for what he does. And I *love* what he did with Griphook, especially in this last of the Harry Potter movies. He could make a fabulous Doctor Who villain.
i would like to see Sil back, perhaps he could play a villian in league with Sil
