David Tennant shared his views on two of Doctor Who’s most hotly discussed topics in an interview with Digital Spy.

He began by commenting on the recent announcement that Jenna-Louise Coleman will be playing the Doctor’s new companion in Series 7. “She’ll have a brilliant time,” he revealed. “I am very jealous that she is starting out on that extraordinary journey. I’d just say to keep your nose clean and watch your back. You’re suddenly rocketed into a world of attention, unlike anything I’d known before.”

Next, the Tenth Doctor actor spoke about all the speculation surrounding the Doctor Who Movie, to be directed by David Yates. He explained: “I don’t know enough about it to be able to form an opinion, but I do know that David Yates is a very talented man.”

David’s previously said it is “not impossible” he’ll be back for the 50th anniversary.
