Interviews from Comic Con have started to pour out across the interweb, and in this one from Wired, the trio discuss the growing success of Doctor Who in the States.

“One of the most interesting things for us is the emergence of the series in America,” Matt said. “Its gathering popularity here. It’s exciting. Every time we come back here we notice a difference in the amount of attention it’s receiving.”

The actor also said the TARDIS has become his “birth pool”.

“Yeah, we all like it in there,” he revealed, describing the “sanctuary” of being inside the empty blue box during filming. “You are away from being told what to do… and the rain!”

One of the hot topics of conversation was Amy and Rory’s final episode in Series 7. According to Arthur Darvill, the Ponds depart “in the most exciting way possible”, while Karen Gillan goes one step further to say “it’s the best exit EVER” – no pressure, Moffat!
