Comic Con: Steven promises “lightly sketched” arc

Steven Moffat told SFX at Comic Con that the arc in Series 7 will be “lightly sketched” compared to last year’s.
“There will be something going on,” he teased, “as a reward to the people who watch the show every week. But last time we went for a big arc. This time it’s more lightly sketched.”
Regarding their plans for next year’s 50th anniversary he said… well, not much, naturally! “We know what we’re doing. We’ll tell you when the time is right,” he concluded.

So early this year, we were promised stand alone, now we are advised the next season will be a ““lightly sketched” arc” – It is heart breaking that SM is so unreliable!
I remember being there when he said he would never cast anyone under 40 as the Doctor and look what happened!
