As promised the latest teaser trail for Series 7 of Doctor Who has hit the web today!
This one is specifically for the premiere episode, Asylum of the Daleks, which means there’s no dinosaurs to be seen (but there’s plenty more where they came from!).
If you are partial to a Dalek, though (and aren’t we all?), it is sure to feel like Christmas has come early – but just what could the most evil race in the universe need saving from…?

It’s shorter than I expected, but intriquing nonetheless. The Daleks asking the man they fear most and who almost destroyed them all in the Time War, to save them.
I just wish they’d give us an airdate.
i hope the paralimic games that run for 2 weeks dont bug up the air times but all in al i cant wait

Channel 4 are the official broadcaster of the Paralympic Games, whilst the BBC were the official broadcaster of the Olympic Games.
So I doubt that the BBC will be taken up with coverage of the Paralympic Games, or I very much hope they won’t.
Did you see at the end, behind the Doctor, it looks like Dalek Caan!

I think it could either be Davros or Dalek Caan.
I’m really looking forward to this episode, it sounds very interesing and exciting. I hope it will air on the 25th August.

The slot from around 6pm onwards has been filled by yet another repeat of Pirates of the Caribbean so those rumours of Steven confirming the 1st look to be true.
It’s not an original idea, the Daleks asking the Doctor to save them. Big Finish have been there, done that! Come On Moffat, something new please!!!!

I’d love for it to be Dalek Caan, but it’s unlikely. The tentacles moving suggest Dalek rather than Davros, who had a body and arms.
I’d guess, based on the plot of the Insane Asylum of the Daleks and a place the Daleks fear to tread, it could be a Dalek that’s been attacked by the insane Daleks.

What would be an original idea? The Daleks trying to take over a planet? The Daleks trying to kill everyone? Whether an idea is original or not does not matter, it’s how that idea is treated that matters.
Looks like it could be airing on 1st September at 6.30pm, or (more unlikely, but it’s worth wishing) at 7.35pm. Only problem is RadioTimes unfortunately cannot give you any clues as to what else is airing between 6.30pm and 8.20pm.
