It’s hard to believe that our beloved Time Lord was last on screens at Christmas in The Doctor, The Widow and The Wardrobe, and as the closing credits rolled on the festive adventure, with the added knowledge that the next series would be “moving a bit later” in 2012, new Who felt like an Everest climb away. But we’ve almost made it!

We don’t know where the last 8 months have gone but we are glad they have, as tonight we’ll finally enter the Asylum of the Daleks, and the anticipated new series will begin…
