Now it is full steam ahead as we look ahead to next week’s adventure, Dinosaurs on a Spaceship!
The Doctor battles to rescue an unmanned spaceship and its impossible cargo in the episode, written by Chris Chibnall, which airs Saturday 8th September on BBC One at 7:35pm.
It feels good to have him back with us, doesn’t it?

Lestrade and Arthur Weasley and Filch in Doctor Who! It’s like Christmas! :D
the dinosuars r putting me of this is the only one this year im not looking forward to as the dinos look so fake and heavy cgi work
I agree, I can’t say I’ve ever seen a Tricerotops look like that, apart from the clay models in the black and white stop-motion era.
Looks to be rather a fun, blockbuster of an episode this; and I say this as someone who isn’t that mad on dinosaurs!
It looks like quite a good episode, despite what the dinosaurs look like.
Well as I’m a fan of Primeval, I’m definitely looking forward to this episode! Dinosaurs on a Spaceship hell yeah :P
I’m just glad that DW is back… and I agree with @TWWL :)
It looks really good but I am not that keen on dinosaurs!
:)
Can’t wait to see this episode, mostly because of Mark Williams, David Mitchell and Robert Webb. Also: Dinosaurs on a spaceship – says it all really!
@shawn Watch Invasion of the Dinosaurs and then this….. you will be grateful for CGI!
@shawn
IIRC, some of the Dinosaurs are real models as well as CG.
@Steve
ive watched invasion of the dinosaur and i never liked that either i just dont like the concept of dinosuars in doctor who its just a personal choice
My daughters love “Invasion of the Dinosaurs”, where the effects are downright embarrassing. (Elizabeth Sladen even said as much in her autobiography.) It’s a good story as long as you make sure to squint whenever a dinosaur is on screen. So I’m really looking forward to this one, where even if the FX aren’t Weta caliber, they’ll still be vastly better. I’m eager to see dinosaurs done properly.
Also, there’s a great cast list for this one, so it should be fun to watch in any case.
@shawn That’s a rather strange statement as Doctor Who is about time travel, so there is every reason to believe teh Doctor would meet Dinosaurs. :)
@Steve
ya but not on a spaceship with nefatitie have said that the last few days ive chanced my mind after seeing online stuff about it and i cant wiat to see it now as the things ive read makes this eipisode more interesting to me now :)
sorry for the second post but i meant having said that instead of have and changed my mind instead of chanced my mind ive just noticed the misstakes
‘Dinosaurs on a spaceship!!’… BEST LINE EVER!!I thought it was a decent episode, however, I don’t think it was as good as the first episode!! Mitchell and Webb as the robots was awesome and I think they couldn’t have cast a better actor as Rory’s dad!! Next weeks episode looks different… Will have to wait and see though!! :D
