The Angels Took Manhattan – what did you think?
The Angels took Manhattan last night which saw the end of an epic era as the Doctor said goodbye to Amy and Rory.
There was plenty of build up to the Ponds’ final episode, but has it lived up to our expectations? Let’s see what the critics have said! Kicking off the reviews is the Guardian, who are full of praise for Mr Steven Moffat for telling the “involving, emotional story with such style”. The Independent agrees that “it was impossible not to shed a tear” at the “wonderful” plot, and Digital Spy adds it was “a great piece of work”.
The Telegraph has described their exit as “a low-key affair”, suggesting that the series is beginning to “run out of budget and steam”, while SFX says it was “exquisitely sad” and “dramatically satisfying”. You can also have your say about it all in our discussion!
