The Ponds’ final episodes will be released on DVD/Blu-ray in the UK on 29th October. The 2-disc set includes Pond Life, a prequel to Asylum of the Daleks as well as ‘The Making of The Gunslinger’ as special features. I dont know why they always use that picture of The Doctor carrying Amy, it wasnt a particularly important part of the episode, it was barely seen! I feel like its only used to gain promotion!
I’ll definitely be waiting for the full Series 7 boxset. I know I’ll have to wait a long time, but at the same time, I’ve never once been tempted to buy Part 1 and Part 2 boxsets.
I can’t really explain why, Part 1 and Part 2 boxsets just really aren’t appealing to me, quite the opposite.
I’ll be waiting for the full boxset too. I much prefer having the whole thing together, special features and all. Saying that, I do want the poster. I’m still looking out for a decent series 6 poster with all four of them on it, so that would do in the meantime. It is a great image!
