BBC One to air Who’s Prom highlights on Monday!

August 24th, 2013

Highlights from this year’s spectacular Doctor Who Prom will be shown on BBC One next week!

The concert took place in July (read our review of the event HERE) as hundreds of fans gathered at the Royal Albert Hall to celebrate 50 glorious years of Doctor Who music.

The show was hosted by Vastra and Strax with appearances from Matt Smith, Jenna Coleman, Peter Davison plus Carole Ann Ford, the Doctor’s original companion.

Attendees were treated to a playlist of Murray Gold’s acclaimed scores from the series as well as a Classic Series medley and the debut of Song for Fifty, a commemorative song marking the Doctor’s anniversary. All in all it was a fantastic show and you can see the best bits this Bank Holiday, Monday 26th August, at 4pm on BBC One – don’t miss it!
