On the surface, good news, as I liked Cold War in Series 7.

The main sticking points for me are that Mark Gatiss is writing it, which never bodes well, and also that the last time we were given a “a new kind” of monster, we got the Teletubby Daleks (also in an episode by Mark Gatiss).

    We’ll see.

Yes, I know Cold War was written by Mark Gatiss, but everyone is entitled to a bit of luck every now and then.
