David Harewood has contributed to the ongoing Thirteenth Doctor discussions by suggesting that the next incarnation of the Time Lord should be “black or female”.

‘It needs to do something different this time, just to bring a new flavour to it,” he told BBC News. “Someone like Tilda Swinton would be a good choice. She’s extraordinary, so she’d be great. Maybe it’s what the show needs.”

The actor is no stranger to the world of Doctor Who, having guest starred in The End of Time back in 2009.

He also found himself in the running to be Matt Smith’s successor in 2013, which he said at the time was an “amazing” compliment. He added: “Who knows what’s going to happen?”

No, no and no. Not a female and not black, just because you change sex or color that does not mean that the show is going to change in better, plus why do we need such a drastic change, the show has survived so long without having to change him into something that he is not. Yes they have proven that the time lords can change in female and in color(only because the writers thought that they have to prove something that wasn’t needed it), but i already think is stupid to have a master female, no please not a woman and not black.
