Final UK rating for Smile

Episode two of Series 10 – Smile – was watched by an official audience of 5.98 million viewers in the UK.

As expected, the consolidated figure is a substantial leap from its initial overnight rating of 4.25 million as it accounts for those who recorded the episode and watched it within the first 7 days of its transmission.

It places Doctor Who as the 23rd most watched programme of that week, and the 8th highest rated on BBC One. Series 10 continues tonight on BBC One in Knock Knock.
