BBC, Penguin renew Doctor Who book deal

July 22nd, 2017

Penguin Random House has renewed their “important and successful” partnership with BBC Books to continue publishing Doctor Who content until at least 2019, it has been confirmed.

As The Bookseller reports, the new two series deal – which includes all formats including non-fiction, fiction, activity, novelty, audio and the annual – will coincide with Jodie Whittaker’s inception as the Thirteenth Doctor, which the head of publishing, Jan Paterson, has described as “an exciting new era” for the show.

He added: “We have a long history of publishing alongside Doctor Who so we are really delighted to be able to continue.”
