Best temp in Chiswick returns!

April 6th, 2009

donna_noble_s4Catherine Tate has been spotted on location filming for David Tennant’s last episode, confirming the long-standing rumours that she’ll be reprising her role of Donna Noble for the Tenth Doctor’s final outing!

Not only that, but the best temp in Chiswick (her words, not ours!) will be joined by her mum, Sylvia, played by Jacqueline King, and the legend that is Mr Bernard Cribbins will also be returning as everyone’s favourite granddad, Wilf… AND, he’ll finally get to step inside the TARDIS!

It’s certainly shaping up to be an amazing story, and with John Simm reportedly recently spotted on set, returning as the Master, it seems that Russell T Davies is pulling out all the stops to make his and David’s last episode the best yet. Let the good times roll!

Wilf (or Sylvia) might also TRAVEL as the Doctor’s finale companion, hence RTD talking about a 60-ish companion for the finale.

Also, Donna (or the Master) is the person that RTD mentioned would cause “squee”’s when they film in April.

I reckon that Donna gets her hands on a copy of The Journal Of Impossible Things and somehow gets round the whole ‘if you remember you die’ thing!

I AM SO GLAD THAT SHE IS RETURNING! Donna was amazing….

Great news! Donna was the best companion out of all of them in the new series by far. :) Much better than Rose or Martha!

Hmmmm it seems to me she is like a camo type thing …and BC is the proper companion for the last two episodes …thats from RTD himself he said that on the bbc breakfast or something.

Bernard Cribbins? See my previous message:

    TSG :YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Donna was a breath of fresh air after the two almost-love stories. I hope she gets her memories back. And I hope Rose isn’t there. Her story has finished.

Really hope that Simm isn’t back as The Master because his incarnation is completely dead. Happy that Donna is returning though.

An incarnation of the Master is never “completely dead”. I mean, look at Anthony Ainley’s incarnation!

Fair point. I will still be very disappointed if Simm comes back as The Master. I just think it would devalue all of the emotion attached to the climax of series three.

I would just be so overjoyed that we get the fabulous John Simm again. And the whole ring thing was already an anticlimax, surely?
