They are coming… and to get us even more excited about their arrival, the official Torchwood website has released a brand new preview of what’s to come in Torchwood’s third series, Children of Earth.

The trailer is currently being shown on BBC America to promote the mini-series, which is expected to air both here in the UK and in the USA in July.

Children of Earth rejoins Jack, Gwen and Ianto as they still struggle to come to terms with the death of two of their closest friends, Owen and Tosh. But they’ve still got a job to do, and this time the team are faced with their fiercest threat to date, and one which will change Torchwood, and the entire human race, forever. But as they battle against the odds, do they stand a chance of saving mankind?
