After months, weeks, days, minutes and seconds of waiting, the third series of Torchwood will finally have its long-awaited premiere in the United Kingdom tonight! It’s been agonizing, hasn’t it? But if all the trailers and clips are anything to go by, it’ll definitely be worth the wait, as the heroic team return to our screens at long last to do battle with their fiercest threat to date…

Over the next 5 nights, Jack, Gwen and Ianto will face the darkest hour - well, 5 hours, to be more exact - of their lives so far. Nothing and nobody will be left unchanged, and it all kicks off TONIGHT at 9PM on BBC One and BBC HD! Hurrah!

The mini-series rejoins the trio as they struggle to come to terms with the loss of their two closest friends, Toshiko Sato and Owen Harper. But they’ve got no time to grieve properly, because they’ve still got a job to do. But as they battle against the odds, is it too late to save mankind?
