David Tennant has signed up to appear in the upcoming St Trinian’s sequel, The Legend of Fritton’s Gold.
It has emerged that the Scottish actor will be playing a character called Pomfrey, a villain who is a member of the secret women-hating society known as AD1, in the film, which will be released in cinemas later this year.
David will be appearing alongside Colin Firth and Rupert Everett, and the cast also includes Fenella Wollgar, who Doctor Who fans will know as Agatha Christie from the Series 4 story, The Unicorn and the Wasp.
Principal photography for the movie began in London yesterday, and filming will continue for two months at the Ealing Studios and in and around the city. We’ll keep you updated!
