Preview of final specials in Total TV Guide!
There’s a preview of the three remaining Doctor Who specials in this week’s edition of Total TV Guide, as the listings magazine takes a look at 2009’s upcoming television highlights, and of course our favourite sci-fi programme is featured as the season’s top telly treat (no surprises there then, eh!?)!
Although there’s nothing new mentioned, David Tennant is the issue’s cover star, and it’s nice to see his final episodes being mentioned months before they are actually transmitted - just the way it should be!
And all of this talk makes us think that maybe they aren’t really that far away after all… or is that just us wishful thinking? Saying that, the preview is a reminder that, although we’ve still got quite a wait ahead of us, David’s final episodes will definitely be worth the wait, as the Tenth Doctor encounters zombies on Mars in November, before being forced into a final showdown with his arch-nemesis, the Master, at Christmas…

I wish we had an airdate for TWoM. It must be within the next couple of months, right?

TSG, at the moment all we know is that it’ll probably be on at some point in November, but chances are we won’t know an official airdate until closer to the time.
