David Tennant to be guest-host on Absolute Radio

September 22nd, 2009

david_tennant_tardisIt has been confirmed that David Tennant will be guest-hosting the Absolute Radio breakfast show alongside Christian O’Connell in November.

The actor will be co-presenting the show for a whole week, and there will no doubt be lots of talk of his final specials, which will then only be a few short weeks away.

“It’s hard to think of a celebrity more loved by the British public,” said the programme manager, Tony Moorey. “When you combine that with David’s sense of humour and the on-air relationship he’s formed with Christian O’Connell in recent interviews, it’s clear that these shows will be must-listen makes.”

He added: “Seriously, who wouldn’t give Doctor Who a show?”

Poor david is not going to be left alone all week! lol. Not even Jessica Hynes could give a lot away in her loose women interview yesterday

She had a Loose Women interview?????????? And my mother didn’t tell me????????????? ITV catch up, here I come! And I… don’t know if I’ll be listening. We listen to radio 2 in our house, and I doubt my parents will be happy about me switching to Absolute for a whole week… even if DT’s presenting…

    @ TSG

To be fair JH didnt really say much about dr who so you didnt miss anything. I have this very strange feeling that after filming finished RTD and JG took all the actors into a room and threatened death to ANYONE who blabs cos seriously no one is saying anything! :(

Knowing John Barrowman, he probably talked about the episodes, his autobiography and came with a clip from the first part.
