Discussing discussions!
We’re now just a few short weeks away from the launch of Series 3 of The Sarah Jane Adventures, and here at WhovianNet we’re getting ready for what promises to be the biggest series of the Doctor Who spin off yet!
As we cross off the remaining days, our Sarah Jane mini-site will be updated around the clock with all the latest pre-series news, previews and trailers, and when the series hits our screens, we’ll be posting our very own episode guides and downloads for every story, every week! And, of course, our discussions will be back!
But this is where we need your help. Our episode discussions are one of our main features, and they, obviously, thrive on your input - which is why we want YOU to decide how we should run them this year.
For last year’s series, we opened our discussions after each story had finished airing on BBC One (every fortnight), but with the show’s updated format for 2009, we’re not sure if we should open a discussion after each individual episode, or after the concluding part of each story on Friday nights. What do you think? Would you prefer being able to discuss both instalments on both Thursday and Friday nights, or to talk about the story as a whole after both parts have aired?
How shall we run the SJA discussions this year?
- Thursday and Friday night discussions (51.0%, 33 Votes)
- Just on Friday nights (49.0%, 32 Votes)
Total Voters: 65
Please use the poll above and comment system below to share your thoughts with us and other visitors. Whichever proves to be the most popular will be how we run the discussions this year, so it’s down to you - go, go, go!
The next series of The Sarah Jane Adventures starts on October 15th.
It will be a better choice to discuss on a Friday night so we can talk about all the episodes that have aired so nobody will be at risk of spoilers of those who haven’t seen it yet.
But… if we just have discussions on Fridays, we won’t be able to discuss outrageous theories! I like outrageous theories.
@Sam
Agreed. And you get to go off on a wild, long review of both episodes rather than having to do one for each episode.
@TE
That makes it sound like it’s a chore. Though I must admit that it would be far better for my schoolwork if there were only one discussion per week.
