Discussion: The Wedding of Sarah Jane Smith (Part II)
The concluding instalment of this week’s Sarah Jane double bill bonanza has just finished airing on BBC1 and BBC HD, which means that it’s time for us to bid farewell to the Tenth Doctor following his short but sweet visit to Bannerman Road.
Fear not, though, because we’ve still got 3-and-a-bit more hours of our beloved Time Lord to enjoy, and he’ll be back on our screens on November 15th in the next Doctor Who special, The Waters of Mars, and then for that two-parter at Christmas. He’ll also be starring in a brand new animated adventure, Dreamland, which is coming soon!

Gulp! When SJ asked if she will ever see him again… Brilliant episode. Elisabeth was particularly great.
I agree,Lis Sladen is a brilliant actress. Great to see the Doctor in action again and some parts where very emotional. Wonder if it’s the last we’ll see of the Trickster? Best episodes of the series so far :)
I’ve never seen the SJA before and watched it this time only because I knew the Doctor was going to be in these two episodes. For what they were, they were enjoyable and I liked Sarah Jane asking if she’d ever see the Doctor again.
If she does and it’s after this Christmas, he’ll be looking a lot different and a lot younger.
Oh my god. When she asked would that be the last time she saw him. He said i hope not i thought i’d die. it was just well you know. Hey this episode was great and i can’t wait for the waters now. But hey in the beginning of the eppy when they were showing the tardis. was it me or was it the new one? You know with the new blue color? then at the end it was the original. Anyone else notice? oh well it was great.
Finally! I’ve just watched the episodes, and first comment is that I am so glad that I could watch both at once. Seriously, if I’d had to wait 24 hours after “Stop this wedding NOW!” then I might have done something highly rash, like half kill myself to find the Trickster and ask it what happened.
I thought that when the Doctor said “I don’t know”, it was RTD talking as well as the Doctor. Because obviously he doesn’t know whether Steven Moffat will include SJ in the main show or whether he could get Matt Smith in to do the SJA. My favourite moment was definitely Rani pointing out “Sarah Jane - she doesn’t like it when people call her Sarah” and the Doctor just pointing out that she doesn’t mind it when it’s him! Says it all, I think.
