New clip from The Waters of Mars on BBC Breakfast!

October 29th, 2009

the_waters_of_mars_doctor_adelaideAs reported yesterday, Russell T Davies and Elisabeth Sladen appeared on BBC Breakfast this morning to promote this week’s instalment of The Sarah Jane Adventures (part one airs today on BBC1/BBC HD at 4:35PM!), and an unexpected surprise came in the form of a BRAND NEW clip from the next Doctor Who special, The Waters of Mars!

The preview follows on directly from the clip that was released on the official site back in July, and a snippet of it was included in the original teaser trailer seen at the end of Planet of the Dead.

The episode is due to air next month and will guest-star Lindsay Duncan as Adelaide, who has been described as the Doctor’s ‘cleverest and most strong-minded companion’ yet.

You can check out this morning’s BBC Breakfast clip below:

The new arrangement of “Corridors and Fire Escapes” used here is a bit… out of place for this episode.

I think you are right, it is an adaption of Corridors and fire escapes. I noticed as well on Planet of the Dead they reused music from series 4 too. maybe they are saving money and not recording new music apart from the finale at xmas
