A big thanks to Reader’s Digest, who have kindly sent us details regarding their exclusive interview with David Tennant, which appears in their December issue, out tomorrow (26th November)!

In the interview, the actor reveals that he has no words of advice for Matt Smith, who will appear as the Time Lord’s Eleventh incarnation in Series 5…

“There’s nothing to say,” he said. “I think we both thought we’d be able to exchange lots of ideas. But actually it’s none of my business how Matt does it and nothing I say can really help him.”

But before we’re introduced to the Eleventh Doctor, we’ve got the Tenth Doctor’s final two-parter, The End of Time, to enjoy at Christmas, and David promises fans that it’ll definitely be worth the wait!

“This year we’ve done something different,” he teased. “It is still set at Christmas, but it’s perhaps not got quite as much, er… Christmas cheer as before.”

And he’ll be tuning in on to watch just like the rest of us! “Just to enjoy the moment. It’s my last Doctor Who,” he added. ”It will be nice to witness that.”
