The Last Voyage cover artwork revealed
Last month, we brought you news regarding the upcoming Tenth Doctor audio story, The Last Voyage, which has been written exclusively for CD release by Dan Abnett, and online retailers have this week been updated with its cover!
The story, which will be read by outgoing Tenth Doctor actor David Tennant, sees the TARDIS materialising on board the maiden voyage of a pioneering space crusier which is travelling from Earth to the planet Eternity.
The Doctor has just started exploring the huge, hi-tech Interstitial Transposition Vehicle when there is a loud bang, and, shortly afterwards, he discovers that nearly all the passengers and crew have disappeared.
Unless the Doctor and flight attendant Sugar MacAuley can take control and steer the ship, they could crash-land… or keep slipping through space forever! And if that wasn’t enough, something awful awaits them on Eternity…

Not really: VOTD was basically a space-based version of Titanic (the film), whereas this seems to be a matter of the Doctor going to Eternity and something bad happening, or crashing on a random planet and killing however many lifeforms there are on that planet.
